Beth Mixson - Human Resource Director

I have 15 years of experience in Human Resources in the manufacturing field with two Fortune 500 companies. Seven of these years have been as a HR Manager. My strengths are in organizational design and people development. I have been honored to be a part of a leadership team that has been awarded leadership excellence awards for our Top Tier performance in our Employee Surveys and recipient of the 2007 Leadership Excellence Award for Community Service.

I have been honored to serve as the ‘volunteer' (interim) HR Director for LCMS since October 2007. During this time it has been a pleasure working with the board to assist in the recruitment of new teachers, assist in the administration of benefits for current teachers and the development of the 2008-2009 budget.

Being involved in my community and having the opportunity to make a difference in the life of our children and their educators is very rewarding to me. I welcome the opportunity to serve as HR Director for LCMS during the 2008-2009 school year if voted to fill the role.
