Human Resource Director
The Human Resources Director will abide by the adopted school mission, vision and core values as a member of the Board and will participate in the annual new student Family Intake Conferences. The role of the Human Resources Director is to deliver strategic, confidential and proactive HR consultation for Langston Charter Middle School faculty, staff and board of directors.Duties:
1. Assist principal in the recruitment of faculty and staff, serving as the LCMS representative for recruiting initiatives.
2. Create and interpret policies and procedures that support school objectives and culture in accordance with legal compliance and LCMS culture.
3. Partner with Greenville County School District in administration of benefits and compliance matters.
4. Effectively administer the compensation program to include salary structure and incentive program linking to performance, based on individual performance metrics.
5. Ensure compliance is maintained with federal and state regulations concerning employment including but not limited to policies, school handbook, personnel files, etc.
6. Assure personnel actions (hires, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions and terminations) are accomplished in a consistent, fair and non-discriminatory manner in accordance with EEOC regulations.
7. Provide counseling and advising on performance and work related job satisfaction matters ensuring the integrity of the school culture and reputation.
8. Proactively manage employee relations for faculty and staff providing leadership and HR counsel.
9. Facilitate HR related workshops/training programs as needed.
10. Ensure that all communications meet/exceeds the overall standards of the LCMS culture.
11. Effectively maintain confidentiality of all privileged information relating to the employees, students and management of the school.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior professional experience in Human Resources management
Desired Qualifications:
- Human Resources experience within government sector
