On behalf of the faculty and students of Langston Charter Middle School, welcome to our website.

Please use this site to acquaint yourself with our faculty, school policies, enrollment opportunities, and other general information about our program.  Our online calendar and electronic bulletin board provide a quick view of upcoming events and important happenings at the school.  Please check them frequently for updates.

This year marks Langston's fifth year of providing an excellent middle school experience for students in single-gender classes.  All students take Spanish every day.  Our Leadership curriculum strives to teach students about civic involvement/responsibility and immerse them in projects providing service to the local community.

The academic curriculum holds students to high standards and enables them to complete up to four high school credits by the end of their eighth grade year.  Our teachers continually hone their strategies for teaching in the single-gender environment by both attending and leading workshops on relevant topics.  The combination of experienced teachers, dedicated parents, and motivated students is a key to Langston's success.  The hard work of all involved has enabled us to attain Adequate Yearly Progress (as required by the No Child Left Behind legislation) in each of the last three years.
