About Me
I have been teaching school in the private and public sector for 15 years. I taught in two other schools before coming to Langston. I am so glad to be at Langston. I believe in single gender education. Our small classes, motivated students, involved parents, and dedicated teachers make a great school. I see our students thrive at Langston and develop a love of learning. Our focus on community service and personal responsibility helps our students become educated citizens. Along with maps and notes, I use projects and fun activities to teach history and try to connect history with current events and relevant issues. My goal as a teacher is to help students see the connection between current world events and what we learn in class.
I love to travel, read, and walk my two miniature dachshunds in my free time. I look forward to another great year at Langston.
