About MeRaised in Memphis, TN, I attended an all girl school for fourteen years. It was there that I first saw and experienced the positive effects of single gender education. After graduating from Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in English, I decided to pursue my Masters in Teaching from Clemson University.
When not at school, I enjoy traveling, learning how to cook, and spending time with friends. My goal is for students to actually understand the mechanics of writing while having a little fun along the way.
I know single gender education works because I have experienced firsthand the positive results of being in a single gender classroom. With so many distractions in school, single-gender classrooms just make sense.
