About MeHaving grown up in a family where my sister, my parents, my grandmother and my grandfather were or still are teachers, I feel a natural calling to this profession. I grew up here in Greenville and I received my bachelor's degree from Clemson University in parks, recreation, and tourism management with an emphasis in travel and tourism. I also earned my masters degree in education from Clemson University. I met my wife Olivia at Clemson and we were married in 2004. My wife and I became parents in 2009 and our Daughter's name is Amelia. When I'm not teaching, I'm probably out in the woods on my mountain bike or shredding around on the snowboard.
I like teaching at Langston because of the shared commitment that the administration and teachers alike have for the goal of single gender education. I also appreciate the support that I get from the board, the administration, my fellow staff members, parents and the students. Each day I think about how blessed I am to be a part of the crew here at Langston Charter!
