Rob Venable
About Me

After receiving a Master of Arts in teaching degree from Clemson University last spring, I was honored to be offered a teaching position here at Langston. I live here in Greenville with my wife Holly and our son Rob Jr. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family at the park, the zoo, downtown and just about anywhere that we are together. I also enjoy going hiking and camping with the guys, watching sports, listening to records, politics, and of course, drinking LOTS of coffee.

Having completed my student teaching experience at Langston, I quickly became very passionate about single gender education. While getting my Masters at Clemson University I conducted research that helped me further explore the need for single gender education, which made me even more of a believer. I strongly encourage parents to research the benefits of single gender education so that they may have a better understanding about the effectiveness of Langston and other single gender schools. Langston provides a wonderful environment that enables students to have a successful middle school experience.
